Iman has been planning to celebrate her birthday on her actual birthday, which is on 27 Dec. She wanted to have the party at the Club House. Somehow Ayah was worried that since 27 Dec falls on long weekend, many people would be oustation and might not turn up for the party. Ayah suggested that we celebrate Iman's birthday earlier, on the last day of school, on 24th Dec. Reluctantly Iman agreed with the suggestion. At first Iman was not so excited about it but eventually she started to get excited. According to Aunty Maya (the care-taker in YA), Iman has been mentioning about her birthday party to her friends every few minutes.
We went to Toys R Us and bought the stuff for the party packs. Iman was so excited choosing the things to be put in the party packs.
Mummy ordered moist chocolate cake from Aunty Azura. Here it is:
When Mummy dropped Iman off in the morning, Iman sternly warned Mummy not to be late for her party as Mummy had to go to the office first then get the cake from Aunty Azura. By the time we reached Iman's school, Iman and her friends had just finished their lunch and ready for the party.
We had a nice short party in YA with Iman's friends. Iman opened the birthday present from Arissa. Then it was time to take the afternoon nap. Mummy decided to take Iman home straight away as Iman was so excited to open the other present that Mummy bought for Iman.
All in all, it was a nice early celebration for Iman... No more birthday present for her to open on 27 Dec!
