Conversation between Iman and Mummy while Mummy was helping Iman to take her bath:
Iman: Mummy, how do you feel when you saw me for the first time when I came out of your tummy?
Mummy: I was so happy to see you!
Iman: What did you hope?
Mummy: I hope that you will grow up healthy, strong...
Iman: kind to people..
Mummy: Yes.. kind, caring, thoughtful, a good Muslim, clever
At this time.. Iman smiled.. happy to hear what Mummy just said.
Iman: So, did you get what you wish for?
Mummy: (choked with tears in my eyes) Yes! Of course I got what I wish for!
Mummy is just puzzled and worried about how serious Iman is about whether she is wanted and whether she is what Mummy expected.
Iman, Mummy hope when you are reading this, you know that you are very much wanted and Mummy love you more than anything in this world. Mummy would do anything for you. Please do not ever doubt my love for you.
I have to qualify that this blog was started to document my feelings about having a child. So naturally it will be about her... my Iman. I am documenting anything and everything about Iman and my feelings towards her during each of the event so that Iman can read all about her growing up years. And also so that Iman can understand my exact feeling during each of the event and be reminded how much she is loved.. long after I am no longer here in this world.
