Iman's trip to KidZania during last year's school holiday with the KAFA group was not very satisfying because there were just too many kids and the time was too short. When Iman told Mummy that, Mummy had a mental plan right away to send Iman to KidZania again some other time. But the trip has to be with friends or maybe cousins coz Iman will not be able to enjoy much doing things alone.
When Mummy managed to secure some 50% vouchers for the entrance fee from Uncle Amae, Mummy's cousin, Mummy quickly put the plan in motion. After much planning and discussing via WhatsApp with the other mummies of Iman's friends, we finally decided that in order to get maximum time and minimum waiting time to try each of the jobs and tasks in KidZania, the kids should skip 1 day of school! This will ensure not many kids would be there! So we finally decided to go and utilize the vouchers on a Friday, 22 Feb 2013. Luckily only Iman and Fareeha are in the same class, while the other friends who were going are from different classes, so it would not be too odd to have so many kids missing from school on the same day.
So, Fareeha's mum, Johan's mum and Mummy took leave to bring Iman, Fareeha, Ainaa, Johan and Hariz to KidZania that day. Ainaa and Hariz's mummies couldn't take leave so the 3 mummies decided to bring those 2 anyway.
We left our houses at about 9:20 a.m. The journey was very smooth and we arrived in Mutiara Damansara quite early, about 9:40 a.m., I think. We were supposed to go and have breakfast in McD before going into KidZania, but the plan didn't happen as the kids were so excited already to go in.

KidZania Adventure here we come!!
Truthfully, Mummy was the one who was excited about this Adventure.
We have to go thru Immigration check now.. They tagged us as we go in and only those with the electronic bracelets can go in.
First stop after we got in was the bank! CIMB! To cash the cheque that each of the kids got.
When we arrived inside KidZania after cashing the cheque, the staff and KidZania's mascots were dancing and the air was filled with so much happiness and sense of fun!
The kids went through the maps given. First stop they decided to do is to prepare a Resume for each one of them before starting to find a job at the Job Information Center. They have to pay 3 Kidzos to prepare the resume.
Each kid got their own computer to prepare the resume by answering the questions asked.

Iman's First Resume!
From the answers the kids chose, they were assigned 3 jobs. Iman was assigned to work in a Notebook Factory, in a Telecommunication Centre and in a Construction Site.
They decided to do the job that Ainaa was assigned to do first, which is at the Petrol Station.

Done! Now each of them get 8 Kidzos for pumping the gas!
Next they decided to try become a Carchitect in the Honda Show Room, which was also Ainaa's task. For this task they had to pay 8 Kidzos to join.
They each got a computer to use to design their Honda.
They were now at the Modelling Area to customise their Honda cars.
At the end of the whole job they did, they each got a Certificate - Certified Junior Car Designer and the car that they have each customised.

Iman and Ainaa decided to work at the Construction Site, which was Iman's task, while Fareeha waited for her turn to do the Window washing.
They would get 8 Kidzos for doing this job. Iman and Ainaa were listening to the briefing before they do their job.
Construction work seemed to be so much fun! Iman was smiling away while laying the bricks.
Iman and Ainaa decided to give a try at the Z-Mart since Fareeha was still not done with her task. Since the other 2 girls chose to be Cashiers, both of them became Shoppers and had to pay 3 Kidzos instead of getting paid if they were Cashiers. Oh well... let them try to be shoppers then.
As Shoppers they were give a shopping list to refer to. There they went.. pushing the shopping cart and looking for stuff according to the shopping list.
Whoever can finish their shopping early, will get some money.
Unfortunately Ainaa managed to finish first and Iman didn't get the money. But it is ok... Right, Iman? It was a good experience to learn how to shop. Next time when Iman is bigger, Iman can help Mummy to do grocery shopping for Mummy.
By this time, Fareeha was done with her task and both Ainaa and Fareeha wanted to go into the Salon. Iman not interested in such activity decided to go with Mummy to have something to eat. We took some time to pose around before we went to eat.

Iman had a RM4.75 hot-dog while Mummy had a RM5 nice Nasi Lemak + Coffee package.
Next task/job they decided to try was as a Courier Agent/Delivery Person for PosLaju
Yeah!! Collected 10 Kidzos from this task!
Iman became a Secret Agent even though that was the task that Iman said Iman didn't want to do. Mummy couldn't take picture of the activity as a Secret Agent because everything was indoor and can't be seen from outside. Somehow there was a task Iman was not comfortable doing that when the girls came out, they told Mummy that Iman was almost in tear doing it. Mummy was just glad that Iman didn't cry and tried it anyway.
The 3 girls finally decided to stop for lunch!
Right after lunch break they decided to continue with Ainaa's task in the Courthouse.

By 12.30 when CIMB Bank allows kids with minimum 50 Kidzos to open an account and get their own ATM cards, our kids were all queuing to open their account. Johan already has his own ATM from his last visit went direct to the ATM machine to take out his money.

Mummy tested Iman some Math when Mummy told Iman to withdraw 30 Kidzos and asked Iman to calculate how much Iman should have in the bank. The Balance Inquiry confirmed Iman's answer. The ATM works!!
The girls went to the Police Department's jail to just take pictures of them in jail, just for the fun of it! We really hope and pray that they don't intend to go to jail for real when they grew up. :-)
Mummy was so glad that the next job they decided to try was to be CSI Scientists.
When everybody decided to try the AirAsia pilot job, Iman was rather apprehensive coz Iman has never been very keen of flying. But since the other girls were going to try the pilot job, Iman reluctanctly agreed to join them.

Mummy couldn't get inside to see the "cock-pit", but luckily the official photographer captured Iman in action. So Mummy bought the picture for the memory.
After trying the Pilot job, Iman wanted to do another one of the task in her resume which was in the Notebook Factory. All her other friends except for Hariz decided to join her at the Dell Notebook Factory.

Iman's last task to be completed was to work in Telecommunication Centre. So all the girls went together to TM to try the job as Unifi Engineers.
Hurray! Now all the tasks in the girls resumes have been completed! They could try other jobs just for fun.

Mummy went to solat in the KidZania's surau.
After that we posed for some pictures while deciding what to try next.

Fareeha wanted to try to be a Nurse working in the Nursery of KPJ Hospital. Mummy would prefer that Iman try to be a Surgeon. However, sinceIman still insisting to be a Nurse with Fareeha, Mummy decided to just let Iman be whatever she wanted to try.
While waiting for their turn to be Nurses, Iman and Fareeha went to be Milk Processing Operators in Vitagen Marigold Milk Factory.

It was nice to see the 2 boys opposite Iman and Fareeha trying so hard to do the job of Nurses.
Good job Iman! For someone who is not very girly, Iman seemed to be very gentle with the "baby".
We asked the staff in KPJ Specialist Hospital whether the 2 girls can try the job of a surgeon after they have completed their job as a Nurse, unfortunately they were ready to close for the day. Looks like Iman has to go again to try more jobs next time.
We spent the last hour selecting pictures captured by the "official photographers" and buying some souvenirs in the National Store of KidZania.
We ended up being the last group to leave KidZania that day! Here's the last few pictures we had of the kids and the mummies too.
The kids still with lots of energy! Still running around. The mummies almost collapsed.
It was indeed a great day spent with Iman and her friends and 2 other mummies. Mummy had as much fun seeing Iman tried so many things and seeing how happy Iman was playing with her friends.
We, the mummies agreed that we must do this again... A trip to the movie is in the pipeline...
