Mummy's Birthday Treat @ Charms in 1-U

After watching Shrek 3D Forever After, since it was Mummy's birthday, we went for a lunch as Mummy's birthday treat. Since it was already lunch hour and there were many people, Mummy decided to have the lunch @ Charms since Mummy like the decor. Mummy wanted to sit on the swing at the table in the centre, but Ayah being someone so law-abiding, thought that the seats should be given to patrons with more pax. In the end the patrons that sat on that table were just 3 pax like us?! So much for following the "unwritten law"?!

Iman @ Shrek Forever After 3D

Iman has always like Shrek and has watched all Shrek movies before. So naturally when the last final sequel of Shrek came to the movies, Mummy made it a point to bring Iman to watch it. Just to make it extra special, we went to watch on Mummy's birthday! And we decided to try the 3D one!

It was a great experience. Imagine Mummy watched 3D movie for the first time when Mummy turned 45 and Iman get to watch it before Iman turns 6!

Mummy enjoyed the movie as much or even more than Iman. Mummy's favourite part was when Shrek said to Fiona "The best day of today is I get to fall in love all over again with you!". Mummy had tears in Mummy's eyes hearing those words! What a wonderful and nice thing to say to a wife! Mummy suddenly realised that Mummy is such a hopeless romantic after all...Wish more men are like that. Wish Iman will find that kind of man later in your life, Iman. Amiin....

Spider Solitaire

Ayah has been the only one in the house that plays Spider Solitaire as Mummy never know how to play it. One day Mummy decided to learn from Ayah how to play it and Iman learnt at the same time. Since then Iman plays Spider Solitaire almost everyday!

Sundae on a Sunday

Iman asked Mummy on Friday when Mummy picked Iman up from school whether she can has a Sundae on a Sunday. Mummy thought that was rather a cute request. So we made sure we went somewhere on Sunday where we can order a Sundae for Iman.

Nurin's Visit

Nurin's mum called all of the sudden on Sunday when we were having a very lazy day. Iman rushed to take a bath and Nurin arrived before Iman could finish her bath. It was such a pleasant surprise for Iman to see Nurin after not meeting her for so long.

Here's some pictures of them together. To think that they were together in Young Ambassadors when they were 2 years old and now Nurin is 6 and Iman going to be 6! That's a long friendship for kids! It was nice to see how they have grown up and still closed to each other eventhough they are now in different schools.

Mother's Day Cards for Mummy

Iman was working so hard on the Mother's Day card. First Iman made only one, then two, then three and finally Iman made 4 Mother's Day cards for Mummy!

Iman was rather excited waiting to give them to Mummy. But when the actual day arrived, Iman just refused to give them to Mummy as Iman wanted to create a surprise for Mummy. In the end, by lunch time today, Mummy found I card on the coffee table, 1 on the dining table, 1 on the kitchen counter and 1 last one on the dressing table.

Mummy had tears in my eyes.. Hugging Mummy tightly, Iman whispered, "I love you very much, Mummy! This is the least I can do for you, Mum!" I can't ask for a better thing for Mother's Day! This is the biggest reward any mother can ask for.. and coming from a 5-year old daughter like Iman, it was more precious and priceless.

The cards were Iman's labour of love that she's trying to shower Mummy. Iman kept saying she needs to do more cards because Iman loves Mummy so much!

Iman's First Book

Iman surprised Mummy today with a book that she has written. It was about Hello Kitty. Iman came up with the title of the book herself too..
