A Hop-on-Hop-off Adventure for Iman's 8th Birthday

Instead of having a birthday party like we usually had for the last 7 years, Mummy decided that we should do something like an adventure for every birthday this year onward. Somehow Mummy felt that memories of an adventure we shared would be more meaningful than the memories of a birthday party.

So, for Iman's 8th birthday, Mummy suggested to Iman that we would go on the Hop-on-Hop-off Bus ride around KL. Since Aunty Bee's birthday was just the day after Iman's birthday, Mummy invited Aunty Bee to come along with us to share the adventure together.

Mummy bought the Ho-on-Hop-off bus tickets from Groupon. Ayah couldn't join us, so he just sent us to MATIC to catch our bus.

Here's the pictures from our adventure:

In the bus and we were the only passengers on this side of the bus. There were tourists from other countries on the other side of the bus.

Jalan Sultan Ismail

Mummy's old office - Plaza See Hoy Chan on Jalan Raja Chulan - brought back a lot of memories.

First stop that we could go down and venture was Menara KL.

But both birthday girls decided they don't want to get down from the bus. Both wanted to just continue to sit in the bus. OK... as you wish.. so we continued to sit in the bus to go to next destination.

The area behind Jalan Bukit Bintang. Looking at the old and rundown buildings like this, we can't imagine that we are in the downtown of KL.

This is the more modern area of Bukit Bintang

Another one of Mummy's old office - Menara Maybank

We were now on Petaling Street. Brought back lots of memories for Mummy... Had lunches here during Mummy's time working at Menara Maybank.

The many poses and actions of Iman while in the bus.

We approached the Muzium Negara and the 2 birthday girls insisted we stay on the bus.. oh well...

We proceeded to Jalan Duta towards the new Istana Negara. Mummy was rather excited to go there since it was Mummy's first time to the new Istana Negara. We finally got down from the bus for the very first time since we got on to the Hop-on-Hop-off bus. The bus stopped for about 10 minutes for toilet stop and photo stop.

The 2 birthday girls were worried the bus would left us coz they didn't want to wait for the next bus. The Capricorn girls proved to have the same idea and same character.

Happy Birthday my darling! Mummy hope Iman will remember this adventure we had  and will do the same later, with your children, Mummy's grandchildren.

Pictures of the 3 friends captured by Iman:

Iman used Aunty Bee's Samsung Note to annotate the picture Iman took of us, the 3 friends.

We went back into KLCC after the picnic to have some drinks. Stopped at Harrods to get Iman to pose with the Harrods' bear:

Happiness to Mummy is seeing my daughter enjoyed her day!

A birthday wish Iman made for Aunty Bee on Aunty Bee's Note!

Everybody decided to call it a day and not tocontinue to go for another round on the bus. We took the LRT home and Ayah picked us from the station. Mummy had a nice time and Mummy hope Iman and Aunty Bee also had enjoyed the day we spent together to celebrate both birthdays.

Happy Birthday to my darling daughter, Iman and to my darling friend, Aunty Bee!! May both of you be in Allah's protection and in abundance of blessings. Amiin...

We have to think of something as interesting to do for next year!!
